TIFFIN, Ohio — The 2025 Tiffin Crawl #31 raised $25,260 to support youth-focused human trafficking prevention and education programs, according to a press release issued by Sisters in Shelter.

The annual fundraiser, held June 28 in downtown Tiffin, invites participants to purchase shirts or caps and visit designated establishments as a group. Sisters in Shelter said it was selected as this year’s beneficiary, continuing the event’s decades-long support of programs benefiting local children.

According to the organization, two major contributions helped drive this year’s fundraising totals. Tiffin Aerie #402 Eagles donated $10,000, and American Legion Post #169 contributed $5,000. Direct monetary donations from businesses, organizations, and community members totaled $16,989.

Sisters in Shelter reported that an additional $8,271 was raised through merchandise sales, raffle proceeds, and day-of contributions. This included the sale of 544 shirts, 35 embroidered caps, and $1,925 generated by the event raffle. The group said raffle prizes valued at more than $3,150 were provided by local businesses and community partners.

Rush Graphix was recognized for designing and printing event apparel, including donated caps, and Reclaim It 127 served as a retail location for merchandise sales, the release stated.

According to Sisters in Shelter, the Tiffin Crawl has contributed $118,199 to children’s programs across the community over its 31-year history.

The organization said this year’s funds will support prevention initiatives that teach young people how to identify exploitation and advocate for their own safety. Community members interested in hosting an educational event or learning more about these programs can contact Sisters in Shelter through its website.

Organizers Kathee and Stephen Bruno announced that Tiffin Crawl #32 is scheduled for June 27, 2026.
