TIFFIN, Ohio — The music of Fleetwood Mac will fill Downtown Tiffin later this month as a tribute band takes the stage for a concert benefiting the Seneca County Humane Society.

Silver Springs: A Fleetwood Mac Experience will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the East Green Amphitheater.

The benefit concert was organized through an effort led by Bob Stein, owner of GW’s Fine Food & Spirits, who wanted to bring another live music event to Downtown Tiffin while raising money and collecting supplies for the Humane Society.

“The Humane Society does so much for our community, and I wanted to find a way to help,” Stein said. “We thought bringing in a great band would be something people would enjoy, and at the same time, we could raise money for a really good cause.”

Silver Springs performs the music of Fleetwood Mac, with the Sept. 24 show expected to include songs such as “Dreams,” “Landslide,” “Rhiannon,” “Go Your Own Way,” “The Chain,” “Gold Dust Woman” and “Don’t Stop.”

A beer garden with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available during the concert, along with snacks and a 50/50 drawing. Organizers said proceeds from the beer garden, beverage and snack sales and the drawing will benefit the Seneca County Humane Society.

Attendees are also being encouraged to bring supplies for the Humane Society. A collection truck will be stationed at the event, with organizers hoping to fill it with donations for animals in the organization’s care.

More than 50 local businesses and supporters have sponsored the concert, according to organizers.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. The concert begins at 7 p.m. at the East Green Amphitheater in Downtown Tiffin.
