TIFFIN, Ohio – The annual Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party is set to return on Thursday, September 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., bringing together the community for an evening of food and fun.
Organized by the Seneca County Young Professionals (SCYP), the event is part of the Third Thursday series and will take place in Downtown Tiffin’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA), specifically in City Lots 5 and 7 on Washington Street.
This year’s event will feature a variety of pizza-themed dishes from local favorites, including Clover Club, Domino’s Pizza, The Empire, Fort Ball Pizza Palace, FroZone Tiffin, Golda’s YUMobile, GW’s Fine Food & Spirits, Heavenly Pizza, Jac & Do’s, Napoli Pizza, Reino’s Pizza & Pasta, Simply Susan’s, The Bagel Buggy, and The VC Tiffin Cameo.
Tickets are priced at $2 and can be purchased in advance at Pan Yan Bookstore, Ralph’s Joy of Living, Simply Susan’s, and The Renaissance of Tiffin. They will also be available on-site the night of the event at City Lots 5 and 7, with cash payments only. Half of the ticket proceeds will benefit Seneca Mentoring Youth Links (SMYL), a nonprofit organization that connects local youth, ages 6 to 17, with mentors who provide guidance and support.
“The Downtown Pizza Party is a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together,” said Mayor Lee Wilkinson. “Come to enjoy good food with friends and family while also helping to make a difference in the lives of local youth through SMYL.”
In addition to sampling pizza, attendees can visit a drink vendor within the DORA for a to-go beverage, adding to the festive atmosphere of downtown Tiffin.
The Third Thursday events in Downtown Tiffin are supported by sponsors Reineke Family Dealerships, Destination Seneca County, and UIS Insurance and Investments.
