FOSTORIA, Ohio — A drug raid at a Fostoria apartment Monday led to the arrest of two people and the seizure of suspected crack cocaine, LSD, a sawed-off shotgun, and other items, authorities said.

The Seneca County Drug Task Force-METRICH Enforcement Unit, assisted by the Fostoria Police Department and the Hancock County Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant at an upstairs apartment at 1240 N. Countyline St.

The warrant, issued by Judge Damon Alt of the Seneca County Common Pleas Court, targeted the residence of Tristin Conley and Christopher Pryor.

Authorities confiscated suspected crack cocaine, LSD, drug paraphernalia, a sawed-off shotgun, criminal tools, and U.S. currency, according to police.

Conley, 23, of Fostoria, was arrested on charges of tampering with evidence and having weapons under disability.

Pryor, 32, was arrested on charges of permitting drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Additional charges, including trafficking and possession of crack cocaine and possession of LSD, are pending as the investigation continues.

Both suspects are being held in the Seneca County Jail, police said.

“Crack cocaine abuse is associated with both violent and income-generating crimes. Over the years, it has certainly negatively impacted our community,” Fostoria Police Chief Gabriel Wedge said in a statement. “The residence has been under investigation for quite some time, and I’m pleased to see the conclusion of the investigation by shutting the place down and removing another firearm from a criminal’s hands.”

Authorities are encouraging residents to report suspicious activity to their local police or the Seneca County Drug Task Force-METRICH Enforcement Unit Crime Hotline at 419-443-0463, ext. 1140.
