TIFFIN, Ohio — Golden Crown, a beloved staple of the Tiffin community for four decades, has announced it will close its doors at the end of the month.

The family-owned Chinese-American restaurant, known for its dedication to customers and community, shared the news in a heartfelt message to patrons, reflecting on the memories made over the years. For some, the closure marks a well-earned retirement; for others, a new beginning.

“Serving you and your families has been a privilege and an honor,” wrote owners Bryan, Ming, and the Golden Crown family. “It has brought us great joy to see loyal customers and new faces enjoy our food every day.”

Golden Crown has been a fixture for countless celebrations, from birthdays and company parties to local team dinners. The owners extended gratitude to their employees, especially those who stayed for years, and to the customers who have supported them.

“We would not have been able to serve our customers for decades without all of your help. Thank you again!” the letter said.

The restaurant encouraged anyone with unused gift certificates to redeem them before the final day of operation, December 31, 2024.

The closure marks the end of an era for the Tiffin dining scene, leaving behind fond memories and a lasting legacy of community service.
