TIFFIN, Ohio — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) will meet with local residents at the Seneca County Democratic Party headquarters on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
The event will take place at 2 p.m. at the party’s office, located at 156 Jefferson St., Tiffin.
The meet-and-greet offers Seneca County voters an opportunity to engage directly with Brown, who is running for re-election in a closely watched 2024 Senate race.
In a press release, Seneca County Democratic Party Chair Gina Grandillo expressed her excitement for Brown’s upcoming visit.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Senator Brown back to Seneca County,” said Grandillo. “This is a fantastic chance for our community to hear directly from him about his vision for Ohio and the future of our nation. Senator Brown has historically been a bridge between party lines, championing policies that resonate with Democrats, Republicans, and independents alike. In a divisive political climate, that ability to work across the aisle is especially important this election season.”
Brown, a champion of working-class issues, is expected to discuss key topics such as healthcare, labor rights, and economic justice.
The event is open to the public, and local party officials encourage all supporters to attend.
