TIFFIN, Ohio — The Ohio Secretary of State’s office has made voting in the Nov. 5 election more accessible by mailing Absentee Ballot Applications to all registered voters in the state.

Ohio residents have the option to vote early in-person, absentee by mail, or in-person at their precincts on Election Day.

In August, the Secretary of State’s office sent letters to voters outlining the steps for absentee voting by mail, including the necessary application form. Voters must submit their applications to their county’s Board of Elections by Oct. 25 to ensure processing. Voters can securely track the status of their application and ballot online at www.VoteOhio.gov/Track.

To process the application, voters need to complete all required information, including providing their signature.

For those who prefer to vote early in person, the Seneca County Board of Elections, located at 71 S. Washington St., Suite 1101 in Tiffin, will offer early voting starting Oct. 8. Voters must present a current government-issued photo ID, and details on acceptable identification can be found at www.VoteOhio.gov.

For additional information, Seneca County voters can contact the Board of Elections at 419-447-4424.
